Riddle Me This

I have a technical question about pregnancy weight gain. When I count how many pounds (total) I will have gained in this pregnancy, do I count from where I started when I got pregnant or do I count from where I dropped down to at my lowest during the first trimester sickness?

I'd count from when you started, but you can ask your doctor what they do.

from where you started... pre-pregnancy.

I am very helpful and I have no idea.

I do know that my mother moved during her pregnancy with my sister and her new doctor's office started counting her weight from when she got to them, not where she was pre-pregnant. They got all upset that she was only gaining ten pounds or whatever it was.

Also say from where you began at your first appointment!

So this is what my doctor told me, I lost 20lbs with my first (so far 20lbs with this one) I gained 20 back by the time I had my daughter. She said I gained 20lbs. But a friend said her doctor said it was from your start weight when you got pregnant, not when you started gaining.
