Back in Breastmilk

Like a lot of things that I worry about, my concerns over Will returning to breastfeeding were all for naught. After our appointment with his pediatrician yesterday revealed that his billirubin numbers had slightly decreased, I was able to reintroduce him to the breast.

It was like we never stopped. He latched right on with his usual vigor. He has been feeding a lot more often, 1- 2 hours instead of the 3 - 4 that he was going before. This makes for a very tired Mommy, but it is so worth it. I do worry that the cumulative lack of sleep is eventually going to catch up with me, but what's a girl to do? Little Man is hungry!
