Familiar Territory - Edited

Okay.

Deep breath.

I have a secret, Dear Readers.

Well, it's not really a secret. It's more of a. . . well, it's an unknown.

What we have here is something very familiar and yet still so very strange.

We have a series of very faint positive pee sticks and brown spotting. Implantation spotting? The beginning of yet another end?

P.S. I am still on the mini-pill. I thought that was supposed to prevent things like this from happening?

Crazy!

I've always thought that the only time I'll get pg easily is when I'm trying not to.

Good luck, and tentative congrats!

Maybe since Will has been cutting back on the nursing the mini pill became less effective? Hoping for a good outcome for you.

Oh my goodness!!! Sending you tons of good thoughts.

I have had a lot of friends get pregnant on the mini pill, so I'm not sure that it's 'fool proof'.

Oh my! What an amazing and scary surprise indeed. I am going to praying about this, and that God will give you peace over it all.

AND PS-I am on the minipill and suddenly quite nervous.

Ah, the mni pill isn't quite as reliable as the usual pill (because it relies on changing the cervical mucus and lining of the womb and often does not block ovulation itself) and even the combined/regular pill does not completely suppress some women, except at higher estrogen contents.

From what I remember, you got pregnant on the regular pill onc before, and needed a double dose to suppress for IVF, didn't you?

It's possible.

I hope your good news ends happily,

xx

lurker thinking of you and hoping all is well.
Please keep us updated.

PS - the Minipill is only 85% effective if not taken at exactly same time every day! I think that is only as effective as Withdrawal method (TMI but true).
