Though I definitely still feel as if I am carrying slightly smaller this time around, I am definitely catching up on my weight gain lately. By my scale, I am up 18 pounds at this time, which is about where I was this time last time, too. I figure I'll gain about 30 pounds (or so) altogether, which is what I gained with Will. One nice thing about my weight gain this time is I am not as bothered by it. I mean, sure, like all women, I don't love the scale climbing relentlessly upward, but I also know that it will go away, I will fit my old pants again someday (maybe not quite the same as I did before, but they will button), and that the outcome is so worth it.

You look wonderful!!!!!
You look really great! Obviously you are one of those adorable pregnant people.
You are so cute!!! God, I was a beast by 7 month (twins though)!
Amen! Women get so caught up on the weight stuff while pregnant. While I understand (my last pregnancy I started off at 178 lbs!!!) I also think subsequent pregnancies make you realize that it WILL come off one day. And having losses does make you appreciate the outcome so much more; they are worth it!!!
(Not saying that those who don't have losses value the worth but that losses can make one more appreciative because they know what they've lost.)
How did you skip week 26? Let me know, I'd love to be a week further too!
Gee, anonymous, thanks for catching my typo! I fixed it so you can rest assured I am not trying to skip any pregnancy fun.
Pregnancy obviousy makes you a tad grumpy, so I'll just hope you deliver a couple of weeks early! For your sake and those around you! ;)
Katie,
I'm so sorry my comment came across as grumpy. I was meaning to be playful and I apologize you didn't take it that way. I promise I'm not grumpy, just anxious. My last pregnancy ended with my delivering my twins at 26 weeks and my little boy passed away 3 days later. This pregnancy I have a cerclage and I'm extremely nervous going through this same time period, so that is why I said I wish I could be a week further! I count down every day like it's a week. So, please accept my sincere apology, I didn't mean to come on your space and have it feel negative. Best wishes to you and your little girl!
Aw, anonymous, now you made me feel bad! Maybe I am the grumpy one! :)
Here is to BOTH of us getting through our pregnancies with healthy (ON TIME) bubs!
