I can't believe that today marks the thirtieth week of pregnancy. I am in awe, really.
I told my husband this morning, "We are really and truly pregnant."
He just laughed at me and said, "You think?"
But seriously, who would have thought this truly possible? Not me. I remember when just getting past six weeks was my goal. Then eight. Then ten. Then eleven. It's been one week at a time, some of the them easier than others, but we are finding ourselves fully entrenched in the third trimester.
Polka Dot requested some belly pictures. I am trying to get my husband to take the 30 week ones, so I will post them soon. But here is the video that I took the day that the furniture arrived from the nursery (28 weeks). Ignore the pile of laundry in our master bedroom and the fact that the nursery closet is a MESS! I told you that I am a pack rat!
After taking the hit so many times, we finally dodged the bullet . . . And we're forever grateful. This is a story about parenting our three miracles after unexplained recurrent pregnancy loss.

Our Story. . . So Far
My husband and I endured nine miscarriages as we tried to build our family, becoming part of the 2% of couples who experience recurrent miscarriages. All of our friends had babies, so I used to joke, "It's because I am taking the statistical bullet for you." It stopped being funny, but it made a great blog title.
Through the miracle of IVF/PGD, we were blessed to finally bring our son, William Patrick, into our lives on August 20, 2008. We were then given a second miracle and welcomed our daughter, Emma Grace, on July 17, 2010. And just when we thought we were done, we got even luckier and Andrew Robert joined us on October 11, 2012.

A is in the second trimester with #2. She thought it was a boy, but she was wrong. . . SISTERS!

Tiffany and Nolan are battling the four month sleep regression.

Congrats on 30 weeks!! That is so wonderufl! Love the video - you look great! Fun to see the progress in the old guest bedroom. That closet is a lot of work, but doesn't everyone's guest bedroom's closet look like that? (Mine did!) :-)
What a cute video. Just think how cool it will be to watch that with your child many years from now! Can't wait to see the finished nursery. Oh and a big congrats on reaching 30 weeks!

You're video was awesome! You have a very beautiful, sweet voice.
And you were not kidding about that closet! LOL! We did our nursery in blue and yellow too! Blue on the bottom half and yellow on the top with a border of stars and moons. Unfortunately we ended up having a girl and it definitely looked more boy-ish! So it will work for you! I had to re-do her nursery just recently to something more girly.
Cannot wait to see the Before and After of the nursery! That's probably one of the funnest things about pregnancy!

I'm feeling the same way you describe , just getting to 5 weeks, past where I miscarried, past my first trimester, etc.
