It was planned but it was still very painful. I would not reccomend being discharged early. My hospital also did not let anyone under 18. They did make exceptions to your own children. However my daughter had a horrible cold and was not allowed. I was away from her for 5 nights/6days.
My husband only spent the night w/me the first night and he made sure he was with her all the rest w/ baby sitters during the day. I missed her so much and when I came home to her I burst into tears.
However she was fine and so will Will. Don't risk your recovery. If you develop an infection it could be more days away from him. Congrats on 5 monthschristinenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6490746375774981338.post-57399931140312923072010-03-30T18:22:06.730-07:002010-03-30T18:22:06.730-07:00How exciting! Last time I had to recover from 24 hours of labor, 3 hours of pushing, and then the surgery. But there were no complications, and I'm worried that there may be this time. Hoping for the best for both of us!Sunnyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10964875388384777306noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6490746375774981338.post-2239215446861309072010-03-30T16:54:42.860-07:002010-03-30T16:54:42.860-07:00Wow! I had the WORST heartburn with J (as in I had it all day and night every day). So excited for you sweetie!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6490746375774981338.post-26266851081106700522010-03-30T13:47:26.166-07:002010-03-30T13:47:26.166-07:00I hope this pregnancy is going as fast for you as ...I hope this pregnancy is going as fast for you as it is for me. :) (Hahaha... so easy to say when it is NOT you who are pregnant)

Glad everything is going so great! Don't sweat the occasional cinammon roll. Baby girls need extra sweetness, I'm telling you!

And PS-speaking as someone who had a planned c-section, I wouldn't do it any other way. (I am sure several people are judging me, but whatever!) My birth and recovery experience was amazing. I probably could have left the hospital the 2nd day, but I milked the whole sending the baby to the nursery and being taken care of experience to the fullest. I was already quite literally back and up running within 3 weeks of L's birth.Mazzyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16914742489846963185noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6490746375774981338.post-51778026008822644032010-03-30T12:51:06.328-07:002010-03-30T12:51:06.328-07:00Costco cinnamon rolls eh? I must admit, the time since that point seems to have flown by for me.

I will admit to being a bit apprehensive about failing in my attempt at a VBAC -- I'm not sure I can handle a prolonged recovery from doing both labor and c-section again. But I also really want to try for a VBAC. I hope you're feeling more confident in your decision!!!K @ ourboxofrainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05633428907297371867noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6490746375774981338.post-53423226791109491102010-03-30T11:41:11.589-07:002010-03-30T11:41:11.589-07:00I loved viability...it's good.
